The Courtyards Project, In The Heart Of Cathedraltown

September 10, 2021

Net Zero Water will be supplying the Rainwater Harvesting System for each of the two five-storey buildings of The Courtyards, in the heart of Cathedraltown.

Located at 101 Cathedral High Street, Markham, Ontario, the two five-storey buildings of The Courtyards will contain residential suites and ground-floor commercial and retail units. This elegant community – just east of Highway 404 between Major Mackenzie Drive and Elgin Mills Road – is close to schools, shops, cultural and entertainment venues and major transportation hubs.

The design was customized to meet the project’s specific goals, including a cistern with accessories, a treatment and a non-potable booster package skid (built and tested with ESA certification) for vehicle washing and irrigation purposes.

Net Zero Water engineers worked closely with J&S Mechanical Inc., Integral Group and Caricari Lee Architects. Net Zero Water then selected and sized the proper non-potable booster pump package to deliver 20 GPM at 58 PSI to meet the LEED Silver Certification and stormwater management requirements. As part of all Net Zero Water’s turn-key solutions, system commissioning, testing, and training are included in the system’s purchase to ensure system operation and reliability for years to come.

Occupancy is expected in late 2021.
